2017 OHSAA Basketball Officials Clinic

By Dennis Morris

The Ohio High School Athletic Association will be sponsoring a basketball officials training clinic again this summer. The clinic is designed for class #3, class #2, and class #1 basketball officials who are interested in improving their basketball officiating skills. Basketball officials from all the districts of Ohio need to be officiating in similar styles, looking for the same things, and using the same mechanics.

The clinic dates are Friday, June 9 and Saturday, June 10. These are two, one date clinics. The clinic will be held in the Capital Center on the campus of Capital University. There are six indoor courts, all air conditioned, in the same facility. There are rooms in the facility were classroom sessions will be held. Each official will receive one local basketball meeting credit for attending the sessions.

The cost is $40 for 1st year licensed officials, returning officials, or if you come with a partner or crew. The cost is $45 for all other officials.

The day runs from approximately 8:30 AM until 9:00 PM. Each official or crew will work four or five games. We supply lunch in the Capital cafeteria.

We look forward to hearing from you. Please fill out the registration form below and send it in to the address shown.
