2017 OHSAA Basketball Officials Training Clinic – Final Notice

By Dennis Morris

We don’t want anyone to miss the opportunity to attend the OHSAA Basketball Officials Training Clinic on Friday June 9 and on Saturday, June 10. I have had officials tell me they have heard the clinic is filled. This is not the case. There are still spots available each day
for anyone who wishes to attend.

These are two, one day clinics which will stress proper high school rules and mechanics for any official who is looking to improve. There will be an expert clinician on every court to instruct you and answer all of your questions. This is a great opportunity to officiate competitive games, get great instruction, and have the chance for great exposure.

There will be class room sessions all day dealing with different basketball related topics for officials of every level. The OHSAA commissioners who handle basketball operations will be present as well as Denny Morris, the Ohio Basketball Director of Development. Each attendee will receive one local basketball meeting credit for attending the class sessions.

Lunch in the school cafeteria and bottled water are also supplied. Many of you have already registered to attend. The cost to attend is $45 per official or $40 per official if you come as a crew.

Don’t miss your opportunity. You still have time. Please fill out the registration information below and mail it to the address shown. If you have any questions please contact one of the individuals listed below.
